Each Yes You Canvas! studio will hold this event three separate nights in October, during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Sign up for any one of these three adult classes in the studio nearest you and paint “Ribbon of Hope” (right) with us. We’ll give $10 of every $30 to The Hope Tree Project, an initiative of Florida-based foundation Libby’s Legacy that provides access to mammograms for at-risk women who are uninsured and under-served. Your donation will directly allay the cost of these much-needed tests. It’s just one way to contribute, and to feel that the help you provide will directly help in a very tangible way.

Here are the details:

• Register for one of the three classes offered by the studio in your area (see dates below; click here and select your studio's calendar, then scroll to October and register by clicking on one of the dates shown) 
• The normal cost for an 11" x 14" adult painting is $25; your $30 payment includes a $5 direct contribution by you and a matching $5 contributed by your studio, or $10 total contributed for every $30 collected, which will be presented to Libby's Legacy immediately following the final event
  
• Due to the fundraising nature of these events, we request that account credits and gift codes be saved for regular classes so that the full contribution may be made for every seat
• You must pre-register for your seat or seats
• The expected length of each class is 90 minutes
  
• All policies regarding adult classes will apply as in any other class. The two main ones are: Everyone present must be painting, and the minimum age is 16 (16- and 17-year olds must be accompanied by a painting adult).  
• As always, you are welcome to bring wine (if you are of age) and other refreshments as you like
